I'm getting better - no fires, no leaks, no drama.
But it's a heck of a lot easier with two extra hands. I had a devil of a time convincing my hands to hold the tools properly to be able to hold the bolt in place inside the tank while tightening the nut with pliers with my left hand. There wasn't room to do it the opposite way, and apparently I'm strongly not left-handed!

I bet we would have had a fire if I had been there! And it would have been way more fun!
You should know better than to attempt plumbing without Heidi. She just wants you to pick out all your shades of white before she comes to help with projects.
