So I'm getting a new kitchen :)

There are several reasons why, relating to space, room for appliances, the cost to add a dishwasher to the current kitchen, etc. - I won't bore you with all of them.  My house was at the low end of my budget.  Not that this means I must spend the money I saved compared to the high end, but it does mean I don't feel too bad about the improvements I'm making.

OK, not much of a show, yet.  I haven't picked out flooring or a faucet.  And incidentally, I was already replacing the counters and floors, so it's not quite as extreme as it sounds - I just added cabinets to the plan.
